The DPU IT Policy establishes institutional requirements for the secure, lawful, and effective use of information technology across Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune and its constituent institutes. It covers IT security, email, CampusERP, hospital information systems, data privacy, student-record protection, digital readiness, blended learning, technology governance, learning systems, and IT infrastructure. The policy defines access controls, encryption, backups, monitoring, incident response, retention and disposal practices, training, compliance obligations, and technology development roadmaps.
